Health information affects real decisions, so we hold our content to clear standards.
Trusted sources only
We use high-authority sources: FDA prescribing information, Medication Guides and Drug Safety Communications; DailyMed; the DEA; the National Institutes of Health and National Library of Medicine (including MedlinePlus and NCBI); the CDC; SAMHSA; national clinical guideline bodies; and peer-reviewed medical journals. We do not use forums, user reviews or commercial websites as sources. Citations appear throughout every article.
What we will not publish
We do not publish advice on obtaining prescription or controlled medicines without a valid prescription, on using medicines outside their prescribed purpose, or on changing doses without medical supervision. Dosing information is limited to what official labeling states.
Updates and corrections
We revisit articles when labeling, safety warnings or guidelines change, and at least once a year. If you spot an error, please contact us and we will correct it promptly.
